Adobes lack of real help support & incompetent bugs this month has nearly lost me my job, thanks

After having this job for 5 years, thanks to recieveing no real help or support this month after a huge spike in issues and not being able to edit, im on verge of losing my job! thanks adobe

Derek is 100% right. With adequate hardware, Photoshop won't give you any problems. I should know, having used Photoshop professionally, 8 hours a day, for the last 20 years.

You seem to have posted around 20 complaints recently with your issues with Photoshop.

Photoshop problems are usually caused by system issues rather than the application.

Can you confirm if you have a powerful modern computer, recent versions of Photoshop need such a system?
Also how much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?
And the exact version of Photoshop and OS?

All adobe apps are up to date aswell to newest versions. Running on Mac m1. Adobe remote support tried helping on a 2 hour session and another 1 hour session. Ill hear back again soon on why these issues randomly came

Having the base model with 8GB of RAM is the first thing. I have an M1 mini but with 16GB of RAM and it gets saturated with Lightroom Classic and Photoshop running. 16GB is enough, but none extra. On Apple Silicon, the system RAM is shared with graphics, so you have even less margin. Make sure to quit out of everything else and I would restart the computer as soon as it starts lagging.

Having swap on a spinning hard drive is also going to impact performance, Photoshop will be hitting that swap space hard and it will be slow. I use a USB-C SSD, plugged into my LG Thunderbolt display, which works great for swap.

APFS is a much better drive format than the aging HFS Extended. This isn't a huge deal but if possible, I recommend it on current Macs.

If we could see a system report, we could probably offer more advice. Help->System Info.
