Advice on recreating text.

Afternoon Folks, 

I'm looking to to try and recreate this style of text in photoshop. I can make up the vector easily enough with the pen tool and i'm fairly confident I can recreate the gradient but not sure how to create the sharp looking edges. 

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
