Your GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB.
It was released in 2016, so it’s 10 years old.
    From the Photoshop system requirements:

    Graphics card

    • GPU with DirectX 12 (feature level 12_0 or later)
    • 1.5 GB of GPU memory
    • GPU newer than 7 years. Keep drivers updated with the latest from manufacturer's website. Adobe does not test with GPUs older than 7 years.

Driver information is missing in your screenshots, but the latest Studio driver can be downloaded here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/257327/
If updating the driver doesn’t help, I’m afraid you’re out of luck.
    Your hardware is too old.

I think you graphic card is the problem. It does match the minimum system requirements only.

Recommended is a graphic card with 4GB or more.

    My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 9 - PureRAW 6 - Topaz Photo AI

Sure if this will be helpful but there was a lot of information on the system info so I just took a bunch of pictures. The odd thing is it will randomly work and then not work again. I can't get it to work now but in the past it has done that. I have installed prior versions I have now uninstalled completely reinstalled Photoshop to the newest version and it is not working whatsoever. Can you please help me.

Just paste the whole thing into a text file. Yes, there’s a lot of info there, that’s the whole point ;-)

You can also paste directly into a reply here.

    Hey @thegersheyfamily,

That’s a frustrating error message to run into when you’re just trying to get work done. To help troubleshoot, we’ll need a bit more information about the version of the app you’re using and your system details. Though it sounds like it light be a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) issue. You can find this by going to Help > System Info. Please copy and paste the information into a text file and attach it to your reply.

what size is your file? it does that to me on 8000x5400 images too. but when i resize 50% then it works, but image comes out all black. as if someone filled it with all black color. same all black happens if i resize same image to 25% size.

    Hi @jongas,

Thank you for the detailed information. The combination of the error on full-size images and the all-black output on resized versions points to something specific, so let me help narrow this down. A few things to investigate:

    • When the black image appears, does the Layers panel show any actual layer content (e.g., if you toggle layer visibility, or check the layer thumbnail)?

    • Are you working in a specific color profile (ProPhoto RGB, CMYK) that might interact oddly with the AI output?

    • Does this happen with File > Export > Export As on the resized result, or is it black directly on-canvas after AI Sharpen completes?

    • What file format are your source images (RAW via Camera Raw, TIFF, PSD, JPEG)?

    • Are these 8-bit, 16-bit, or 32-bit images?

    • Are you applying AI Sharpen to a flattened layer or a Smart Object?

    • Does the same thing happen if you duplicate the image (Image > Duplicate), flatten it, and then run AI Sharpen on the duplicate?

    • Are you on macOS or Windows, and do you have the latest GPU drivers installed?

Let us know the answers to the questions above, and we'll work through this with you.

    Best,
    Anshul Saini
