Aligning photos

hello

i would to align some photos to the horizontal. to make this i was thinking to draw a line and then find some command to tilt all to 0° (horizontal).

how can i do this?

Use the Ruler tool*

Draw the line on your image

Then in the options bar click on Straighten layer

It will adjust the layer to make your line straight

* Note if you can't find the ruler tool - try clicking and holding down the eyedropper (they share the same space on the toolbar)

If you still can't find it - click on the three dots in the toolbar and it will open up the toolbar options

I use Photoshop feature Align layers to selection to automate aligmenemt that in Action and scripts.

What version of Photoshop are you using? Unless it is fairly old, you can use Smart Guides

Make sure they are turned on under the View Menu, and move your layers. When the pink line shows, they are aligned

Notice the bottom row has a Smart Guide showing the layer Centers are aligned. These also work when Transforming an object/layer.

Now that I have seen your reply Trevor - I re-read the question and think the OP was indeed asking about aligning several images in the same document. Looks like I missed the point

No I think you nailed it Dave. I passed (whoops, unintended pun) right past the OP's 'tilt all to 0° (horizontal)'.
