all of a sudden I cannot drag and drop an adjustment layer from one image to another in photoshop

This happened as I was in the process of preparing a series of images for printing.

 

It has been my practice to get one image adjusted for printing - soft proofing, then adding a group containing the adjustment layers I need to get the print looking the way I need it to. I subsequently drag and drop the group to any other image I want to print with the same set of adjustment layers.

In the middle of doing this it suddenly stopped - I have tried anything and connot get this to work any more.

 

What is going on?

Hey! Could you please share your system info with us? You can find it by going to Help > System Info in Photoshop, then just copy and paste the details into a text file and attach it here. This will really help us understand what’s going on.

Also, if possible, could you share a screenshot of your workspace with the file you’re having trouble with, making sure all the layers are open? That way, we can get a clearer picture and assist you better.
