All selected shapes automatically change to a gradient in Photoshop 2026 and Beta

Hi,I’ve encountered an issue in Adobe Photoshop 2026 and the Beta version.In my workspace, I have multiple shapes filled with plain white color. However, whenever I select more than one shape at the same time, they all automatically switch to a gradient fill.I want to be able to control or change the colors of each shape individually, but when they are selected together, Photoshop applies the same gradient to all of them.I’m not sure if this behavior is caused by a setting or if it’s a bug.I’ve attached a short video showing the problem.Versions:Photoshop 2026Photoshop BetaOperating System: Windows 11Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution?Thanks in advance!

Hey, @yagyz. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share the system information from Photoshop Help > System Info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

The video displays the behavior, however, the video does not show the layers panel. Could you record a wide video covering Photoshop's UI and relevant panels.

Go to the location of the preference folder below and rename it to backup.

Windows 10/11: Users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings
You can press Press the Windows key > Enter 'Run' > Enter %APPDATA%\Adobe
Rename the Adobe Photoshop folder by adding a .old at the end. (Adobe Photoshop 2026/Beta > Rename > Adobe Photoshop 2026/Beta. old), You can restore these preferences later if needed.(https://adobe.ly/4860qM9)
Restart the computer.

These changes will give a fresh start to Photoshop as a fresh install. Let me know how it goes.
