Anyone having performance issues with Photoshop & Illustrator on their M1 Max Mac?

I'm on an M1 Max Mac Studio with 2 TBs of storage, 128Gs of RAM, and OS Ventura. After Effects and Cinema4D crash a lot more nowadays... not sure why. But Photoshop and Illustrator struggle to open & save files, copy and paste, and effects take long to apply. Also, my Wacom pen lags and desyncs even more now when painting. Even when working in small files for the web.

I don't remember Adobe products ever being this bad. Is it my Mac? Is Ventura? Are there new settings I need to tweak? Does anyone have any solutions?

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
