I am inquiring about updating to the latest Apple OS for my Mac Studio to Tahoe, but from what I read there have been compatibility issues with various applications. I'm currently using Sequoia 15.7.3 on a Mac Studio M4 Max with 64 GB and if there are issues, I'll stand pat until I read back.

On macOS Tahoe 26, some older Adobe applications like Photoshop Elements versions 2022 and older along with Adobe Photoshop versions 2020 and older won't run.

So if you have any older Adobe applications that you'd like to keep using, check on the relevant forum to see if there are issues when using them on macOS Tahoe.

Otherwise this is the only Adobe documentation i could find about compatibility with macOS Tahoe 26:

I contacted Calibite about this, and they weren't thrilled about this feature. They felt that anything that can "enhance" the way your view images will likely distort the accuracy.

Tahoe is up to 26.2 and most of the early problems have been ironed out. The biggest remaining issue is whether you like the new Liquid Glass UI. Otherwise its fine, Adobe has officially announced compatibility. I have it on multiple machines without any major hangups.
