Are both Photoshop 2023 and Photoshop 2024 versions needed?

I have both versions installed in my Windows 11 Laptop. More specifically 2023 24.7.4.1251 and 2024 25.11.0.706, they are each 9.18 GB. Do I need the 2023 version, or is there a reason to have them both installed and occupying at least 18.36 GB?

Some of us like to keep the previous version around, until we're confident there are no unexpected issues in the new version.

You can uninstall 2023, but just so you know in advance - If you just uninstall it now, it's likely to take file associations with it. The way to avoid that is to uninstall both, newest first (last in first out). Then reinstall the one you want to keep. This way the file associations are correctly handed down to the OS and then forwarded to the new version.
