Audio not playing

Hi guys I have a bit of an issue

I'm currently animating in photoshop 2025 and for some reason the audio refuses to play. I've looked on here for answers but have had nothing work. I've tried closing and reopening the software, checking if anything is muted, reopening the audio on the timeline and checking my computer for audio issues. Nothing has worked. If anyone has an answer please let me know ASAP, thanks!

Hey there,

We're sorry about your experience with audio in Photoshop.

Please share the system info of Photoshop from Help > System info > Copy & paste into your reply.

Could you share the screenshot of the behavior?

What audio format are you using?

If your computer audio settings are ok, then try resetting Photoshop preferences:

Before doing this, take a backup of the preferences:

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Update:

So whenever my pc goes to sleep, it switches between audio working and audio not working. Is this supposed to happen?
