Automatically Save disables automatically

I have enabled automatically save recovery information every 5 minutes. But when my mac crashed, i found no autosave file and i then checked the preference and found the autosave is disabled now.

Why is this happening?

I appreciate you sharing this information with me. It seems your system has some pending OS updates, so please take a moment to update your machine so the drivers can also be refreshed. Before you proceed, could you please share a screenshot of the file handling preferences from your Photoshop settings? Also, it would be helpful if you could confirm the file size of the file you created.

Hi @SM24monkeys, thanks so much for reaching out!
Sometimes Auto Save can turn off if your system resources are running low. Could you share your System Info with us? You can find it in Photoshop under Help > System Info. Just copy the details into a text file and attach it here, or share it through Google Drive, WeTransfer, or any file-sharing service you prefer.
