Blur Tool not working

Hello, 

 

My blur tool is not working at all. Im using the correct layer and haven't began adding my editing layers yet. Is this a system error for other people?

Have you...

  • tried other files? Or is it just happening with this particular file?
  • restarted your computer?
  • restarted Photoshop?
  • updated Photoshop?
  • tried other versions of Photoshop? The Creative Cloud app allows for multiple versions of Photosohop to be simultaneously installed.
  • tried resetting the tool?
  • tried resetting the Preferences (You may want to back them up first)?

 

I'm happy to explain any of these suggestions in more detail if it helps.

Im having the same issue. My blur tool doesnt work at all.

Try the suggestions I made there.

 

Are you using the latest version of Photoshop? Perhaps something broke in a recent update.
