browse more fonts in photoshop

why don't I see this option by character (fonts) in photoshop?

If you are not seeing a list of fonts in the Font drop-down menu, look to see if a filter has been applied.

Alternativley, if you think you have an application corruption, reset the Photoshop Settings back to the factory defaults, which you can do under the Genearl tab in Settings and then close and reopen Photoshop.

Again, let me clarify, I do see the fonts, but don't see an option to browse adobe fonts.

If you mean searching for aditional Adobe fonts, choose the "More Fonts" facility.
