Brushes coming out ultra pixelated and buggy

This is what they look like when I try to use any brush (big white pixelated blobs) and what it should look like. I have timeline on, if i go to a new frame and come back, it displays the line normally. Sometimes when I draw it also shjows the transparency grid instead of just pure white pixelated blobs. Anyone else have this issue?

I've tried restarting computer and application.
