brushes in photoshop not working

hi  if i zoom in 100% on an image my brush circle on my scrren , becomes a hexagon shape and if i make the brush smaller it becomes a star shape . when zoomed out  and i have the brush soft  i can not see the outer line on the brush circle .  any ideas

Hey, @Dave30321666fddo. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share a video of the issue and the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

 

Does it behave as mentioned after a specific set of steps? What troubleshooting steps have you tried already?

Also, please test and confirm if the issue exists with Photoshop (Beta). You can get Photoshop (beta) from the Creative Cloud > Apps tab > Beta Apps section.
