BSOD analysis

Hello, I have problems with Photoshop since I remember. It doesn't depent on the program version. The program works good about a couple of minutes but suddenly it freezes and the BSOD appears. All drivers are updated. Windows 10 is up to date.
I have:

Ryzen 7 2700X, 3.7GHz, 16 MB

X570 Phantom Gaming 4

GeForce RTX 3060

Straight Power 11 650W

DDR4 Goodram 16GB 3200MHz CL16

My system can't make z dump file. I was trying to analize the problem with ProcMon, but finally I am using WinDbg.

And it says:

This is not a bug in Photoshop, so I've moved the thread to Discussions.

You might want to look at the system requirement to be sure whatever you purchase meets or exceeds the recommended requirements.

Ok. I am using version 23.0.2 and it is the most stable version for a Ryzen processor. It doesn't crash. Every newer version does, and the worst work is with AI module.

Since that works for you, be sure to disable automatic updates for applications in the Creative Cloud app if you haven't done so already.

Yes, I also suspect that something is wrong with Ryzen. I have come across several forums where someone has exactly the same problems as me with Ryzen and GSkill memory sticks. But I guess I will have to buy Intel i-7 or i-5, because otherwise I will not be able to do anything on this computer, except play games... I will look for gaming options to disable them. Thanks for the suggestion.

And I have also motherboard X570 Phantom Gaming 4... 😕😕

An application cannot cause BSODs or hard restarts. Period. There are sandboxes and insulating layers to prevent that.

An application can crash or freeze, but not take down the whole system. It's not possible. What Photoshop can do, obviously, is to trigger it. But the problem is in the system.

AMD is known for targeting their hardware to gaming. That's their market. Go through all system settings and reset/disable everything that seems gaming-related. That extends to the BIOS, which controls how components communicate. For instance, things may be overclocked past stability. Statistically, we've seen a disproportionate amount of this type of problem with AMD Ryzen systems. Some have fixed it with BIOS updates.

I don't think Photoshop is here the problem. The reason for BSOD are usually system/Windows driver and/or hardware problems.
