Camera Raw not working properly when icm profile from displaycal is applied

Hello, so i am using a macbook pro m2 and have this external dell monitor that i had calibrated with displaycal, this calibration produced an .icm file that i applied as a color profile in the macbook's display settings to get the calibration applied to the monitor. Now the issue is when i open camera raw in photoshop (or lightroom classic) i get this glitch going on (see video). The contrast and colors randomly change between what looks like the proper calibrated colors and something else with tons more contrast. This issue is only present when using the icm file from the calibration, it does not happen with any other color profiles available in the macbook display settings. How can i fix this? Thanks

Rerun the profiling and make sure it's set to make matrix-based profiles, not LUT/table-based, and v2, not v4.

LUT and/or v4 should normally work, but doesn't always in some configurations. It's just more complex and more prone to errors.

Nomenclature for matrix profiles varies a lot, in some calibration software it's called gamma value or curves. Whatever isn't LUT, is matrix.

It's been a while since I used DisplayCal, but the last time I did, I balked at some horribly complex options and procedures, like offering 256 color test patches which is just a recipe for banding and artifacts. Generally, go over your settings and when in doubt, pick the simplest option. That's usually the best.
