Question

Can't find glyph alternatives shortcut

I have searched this page, and have only found out how to enable/disable type layer glyph alternatives.

However... it used to automatically do this, and I loved it.

Out of nowhere, I couldn't find any alternatives when highliting my font anymore.

I am having to manually go to the glyph panel on the right, but it makes things so way harder for the work I'm trying to do.

I have done the Preferences<Type<Enable type layer glyph alternatives but it does nothing different. I've restarted photoshop, as well as my Mac.

Please help!

Thanks.

Hi

Some typefaces do not have alternatives for glyphs. They only exist if the type designer builds them in. What typeface are you using? That's the first thing to check. Other options are resetting the Type tool and resetting Preferences, but let's check the typeface first.
