Can't save file as a jpg

Hi all! I'm using v. 27.2.0. And all of a sudden, I can't save as a JPG file. I made sure "Enable legacy "Save As" is checked; I tried "Save as" and "Save as a copy." None of these allow me to save as a jpg any longer. I CAN export... but that takes so much longer than just saving! Is this something new in 27.2? Thanks.

OK, so this is crazy. I went to save an image just like I was trying to do last night to check the mode, etc. And it's working fine now. I didn't restart or anything. But I guess it works now? If the issue comes back, I'll post again. Thank you for your response!

Are you saying that you don't have the full list of file format options when using Save As?

What is the Image Mode? Indexed Color will not save out as JPG
