It might be due to an update, but now, I can't snap layers even when snap is turned on. It always worked before. I've tried turning it off and on again and again, but it does'nt work. Adobe Photoshop vs 26.1.0

Correct answer Splash Colors

Thanks maxc2. I found a work-around, if I snap it into a corner and drag from the middle handles it will snap to the image sides, then I just move the layer where I want it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19XD8-NjfmbURyahsXE2Ib9qh0TvJhNsO/view?usp=sharing

Does the layer that you are trying to snap to have clear edges, i.e. not soft or transparent?

Just tried, no luck. Even used a different image, just in case, same thing.

@Splash Colors Have you tried resetting Photoshop’s preferences?

Maybe, I'm thinking of something else, what I'm trying to do, is place a layer above my main layer and resize it to match the lower layer without having to readjust by hand repeatedly until I get it right. I thought that was the snap feature.
