Can't stop Generative Fill using Gemini 3 / Nano Banana

I'm very grateful for your response.



I am far from an expert with use of PS but I have been using it as a 'basic'
user for photography only, for some years



Firstly, I should say I am not opening the GenFil page.I have an image open
in PS, I make a selection, then right click and select 'Generative Fill'.
Previously GenFill then did it's thing but now (in the last couple of weeks)
the GenFill window opens but 'Generate' is greyed out and have found that I
am required to add a text prompt. GenFill then starts (showing that it is
using Gemini 3 / Nano Banana but then it stops and a new window opens which
says something like: "Complementary generations used.. to continue to use
this feature upgrade to a plan which offers this feature". What has changed
that I am required to use Gemini 3.how do I get back to just using my
monthly 250 credits.
