Question

can't uninstall, please help

I'm trying to uninstall Photoshop but I need to log into my account in order to uninstall. I'm not sure why but it doesn't give me an alternative option. When I log in it forces me to download an update to creative cloud in order to proceed with the uninstall. Then I get an error that I don't have enough space remaining to install the update. I can't uninstall photoshop to make space. The AI told me to download the Creative Cloud Cleanup tool to address the issue. But I don’t have enough disk space to download the Creative Cloud Cleanup tool either. Please help me uninstall the application. Is there a way besides figuring out other stuff I can delete and reinstall?

@defaulthwbwpyioc6ql

If you're that low on disk space, I'd say you have much bigger problems than uninstalling Photoshop, which is only 2 or 3 GB. You need to free up a lot more than that, or your machine may freeze and lock up at any moment.

@Ged_Traynor shows an excellent place to start.

@defaulthwbwpyioc6ql if you’re on Windows, you can use this tool to see what’s using up your space, there’s a portable version so no need to install

@defaulthwbwpyioc6ql if you use Creative Cloud Desktop App, click on Photoshop, you should get the ‘Uninstall’ button.

We can’t uninstall the app for you. What other apps are on your computer? Empty your downloads, empty the trash can.  Sometimes, when a computer crash, removing unused apps helps a bit

Here are the technical requirements:

I just installed this on our PC:
