Can't update Ps because CC screen is black on my Mac

Hey Don, thanks for reaching out! Try the steps suggested by Larry, especially quitting the Creative Cloud desktop app and restarting the machine.

Don, a few things to try, in order of relative difficulty and inconvenience --

• close CC, then click on Ps>Help>Updates. CC should start with a regular screen.
• if not effective, Quit Creative Cloud then restart. If the regular display shows up, you're gold.
• close CC, log out of Ps, restart CC and Ps.
• any of the above combined with a system restart
