cannot direct print psd file in photoshop

After updated the latest photoshop version (2024 25.1.0.120), user cannot print the old psd file (freezing photoshop, cannot show printer dialogue box), but can print the new psd file. it looks not related to the file size, tried differnet psd file size (10MB, 100MB, 200MB....10MB cannot, 100MB can, 200MB cannot)


The PC is recently updated with win 10 Pro 22H2, anyone have the same issue? and any suggestions?

    Hi @Fredo33422324qefy hold the space bar down when going to Print to reset the dialog box. Does it crash or freeze?

    If it just freezes, not an actual crash, then verify your printer drivers are updated.

    I am having the same issue, reinstalled my printer, made sure the drivers were updated, held the space bar down, when I select Print, it thinks about it for a moment, and then photoshop closes. Everything is up to date, my printer is only a few months old. I updated Photoshop beta and that's when I had the issue. Printed out some psd files for a client on Tuesday, updated Photoshop Thursday, problem started the next time I tried to print on Saturday.
