Hi!

I have a fresh install of Photoshop (latest, 26.2.0) on a Windows 11 PC and Im trying to use the Flame filter. I do have the GPU activated in the preferences but the Fire filter doesnt render anything (not even a preview). No error messages.

I do like this:

1. Create a new layer (transparent) over the background

2. Draw a path using the pen tool

3. Apply the Fire filter.

Any ideas how to troubleshoot this?

Ok, this is very confusing. After a few restarts, suddanly it works. I have no idea what made the difference.

Anyway, Im up and running again.

@Mattias345355913zka just tested on my system, and it's working fine with Photoshop version 26.2, can you post your Photoshop system info, in Photoshop go to Help > System Info, hit the copy button and paste the entire thing into this thread

Thank you. Though it works now. I have no idea what was wrong, took a few computer restarts to fix it.
