cant hide layers

Hey,

I just finished a long and complicated project on Photoshop. I took a break, came back, and now I cant hide/show layers. Clicking the eye, and nothing happens!

What is going on? I reaaallly don't want to start all over again..

All help is much appreciated!!

  • Try hitting the Escape key in case it is waiting for input.
  • Can you create new layers, and turn them off?
  • Are the problem layers clipped to other layers?
  • Are you able to save the document?  If yes, then do so. Then close it, restart Photoshop, and open it again.

Do you have any of this icons on the top

maybe you are transforming something, press the escape key
