.ccx extensions not installing (no response / no popup) in Photoshop & Creative Cloud

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue where all .ccx extensions fail to install with no response or installation popup.

Affected plugins tested:

• Lumenzia
• MagicTouch
• PixelExpand

All behave the same way.

Problem description:

When I double-click any .ccx file:

• Nothing happens (no installer window, no error, no Creative Cloud popup)
• No Adobe extension installer is triggered
• It looks like the file is ignored completely

System details:

• Windows 11
• Adobe Photoshop 27.7.0 installed and working normally
• Adobe Creative Cloud installed and signed in
• CCXProcess appears in Startup Apps 

What I already tried:

• Reinstalled Photoshop and Creative Cloud
• Restarted PC multiple times
• Checked Windows Security / antivirus blocking
• Tested multiple .ccx plugins (same result)
• Verified Creative Cloud is logged in

Why would .ccx files not trigger any installation at all (no popup / no error)? Is this related to:

• CCXProcess / CEP service corruption?
• Windows file association issue?
• Creative Cloud extension installer broken?
• Photoshop version compatibility?

Any guidance would be appreciated. I’m trying to determine if this is a system-level issue or Adobe service issue.
