CF express card problem

I have a Macbook pro, Sonona 14.2.. I have been using Adobe Bridge photo downloader successfully via a sandisc cf express card reader, now i cannot get it to read the photos that are on the card, witch i can see when manually opening the reader via the desk top... PPs this is a brand new card reader...

I tried refresh, with no sucsess on the down loader...

Ps - it will (Photo Downloader) pick up my photos from my XQD card from the same camera/slot different card reader... i also un-installed bridge & re installed Bridge as well.. still no go...

Can anyone recogmend anything???

Hi @Chris photosw you threw a lot of variables out there so want to be clear -

Is the issue with specific card or any card via the new card reader?

Does the issue occur with the different card reader?

Hi Kevin Thanks for that... I have tried another card reader with NO effect... My thinking is now that the actual CF Express card is at fault... My Camera a Nikon D850 can use two different card, in the same card slot... An XQD card that Does work perfectly... And the CF Express card that does not work... So i believe that i need to replace/renew the CF Express or just continue with the XQD card; Thats happening now...
