Change Default Brush!!! And Masking problems

I have a bunch of my own brushes in photoshop and whenever I choose the brush tool, it goes to this ONE brush every time!!! I don't want that!! I want it to go to the normal default round soft brush. I don't know how this setting changed or if i did it by accident but I literally can't find where to change it.

Also, this has been happening for a while, when I'm masking an image, the brush colors have completely reversed. Black on the black inverted mask will make the image appear, and white on white will make the img dissapear. I don't understand how this got messed up too.

please help if i missed something here

    Could you please post a screenshot taken at View > 100% with the pertinent Panels (Layers, Channels, Options Bar, …) visible?

    First Step: Reset the Brush Tool. Right-click on the Brush icon and choose Reset Tool to get back the brush tool defaults.

    Let me know if that worked. It's easy to bump settings and not understand what it did.
