changing layer from normal

Changing a layer containing a graphic from Normal to any of the options no longer works. Previously as I scrolled down the list, a preview of each choice would display. That is also no longer functioning.

    We saw that you initially reported this issue with version 27.8. We’re hopeful that the issue has been resolved by now. Could you please confirm whether the same issue occurs on version 29.9.1 as well?
