Color Library problem

Dear Community,

I have a number of color libraries unique to various clients and projects. After awhile, the swatches are slow to selct, or even inactive at times, until I quit Photoshop and reopen. This is increasingly irritating and time consuming. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what's the fix? Thanks so much!
