Colourpicker in Gradient editor does'nt work

Working in the latest version of Ps I'm not able to use the colourpicker in de gradient editor. Not in the gradient tool editor and not in the editor from a gradient adjustment layer. I've looked and searched over the internet what could cause this problem an found this frustrated person, Adam Duff,  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6adWgu2a58o.

I regognised his frustration and tried what he did: install an old version of Ps. Voila, now it worked well! In Ps 22.2 it worked fine, in the latest version it does not.

Am I missing something or is this a bug??
