Command+x shortcut not working in photoshop

Hello &#128578; hope you are all well.My command+x shortcut does not work at all in photoshop. but it works perfectly fine everywhere else, illustrator etc. I have tried rebooting my mac, setting everything to default from the pc settings, changed the language of the keyboard, deleting files from photoshop Option+Command+Shift, resetting all the tools, setting the shortcuts to default and rasterizing the layer. every other shortcut works fine in photoshop but not command+x.what could be the issue?thanks for the help, best regards.

Hi @Artem_Zherebkin9679, Welcome to the Photoshop forums! Looks like you're having some trouble with your keyboard shortcuts. When using the default Cmd+X shortcut in Photoshop, make sure part of the image or object is selected to delete part of the image. If you would like to cut a layer when using Cmd+X, you can change your keyboard shortcuts to make them work better for your workflow. Go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts and make the changes you would like to see. Let me know if that helps! ^CH
