Contact Sheet II : minimise PS when creating contactsheets or hide actions

Hi All,

I am creating a lot of contactsheets via "file>automate>contact sheet II". It is a great feature however I don't want to sit and watch all the actions that PS does to get to the final pages. It is super annoying as the PS window stays on top of all other apps and I cannot do anything else untill the actions are completed. 

 

Any suggestions or tricks  to help me do my other tasks while PS is creating the sheets for me?

 

from my experience it I has always been like this regardless of different systems I have used throught the years but for your reference I am currently using PS 25.1.0 on mac OS Ventura.

    On Mac (25.1.0 on MacOS 14.1.1) it seems I am able to work in other applications while the Script runs. 

     

    Have you alternatively tried Bridge’s Output Module?
