Contact Sheet with detailed descriptions

Question

Hello All!

I can make contact sheets in Photoshop without any problems but I also need to add detailed descriptions of what the photo is about. So, four columns....2 columns of photos and 2 columns of descriptions. I've not had success with Photoshop and wondered which other Adobe application would be better suited to this task?

Maybe there is a template available in another application that someone has used for doing this?

I would recommend Indesign.

Is the information you want to add as text part of the metadata?

Can you provide some sample images and a sketch/mockup of the intended appearance of the contact sheet?

Edit: Description is an options for Indesign’s Captions.
