Continuity using Generate Image?

I am a story illustrator. I was wondering if it is possible to have continuity using Generate image in Photoshop? If so, how do you do it?

My understanding is that generative is random, however, using a reference image can help to shape the outcome, YMMV.

Hi @chrisc31267840,

I think the best option at this time is to use Adobe Firefly. With Firefly, you can use reference images, and bring the generations back into Photoshop for further editing.

You're welcome. Generate Image and Firefly should both offer the reference image option. Generative Fill doesn't in my version.

P.S. As an illustrator, perhaps you should be thankful that generative AI is random and doesn't offer continuity.
