corner resizing of floating windows and resize zoomed window broken in recent Mac build

Thanks for clarifying that you’re referring specifically to resizing floating Photoshop document windows while Application Frame is disabled.

Could you please share a few additional details so we can investigate this further?

• Go to PS Help > System Info > Copy and paste the contents here.

• Please share a short screen recording showing the cursor at the corner of a floating document window and what happens when you attempt to resize it.

• Are you using only the Mac’s built-in display, or an external monitor as well? If external, please provide the monitor make/model, resolution, and how it’s connected (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, dock/adapter, etc.).

• Does the behavior occur on all four corners of the window?

• Does resizing from the sides or the bottom edge still work normally?

Also, have you already tried manually backing up and resetting Photoshop’s preferences? If not, please rename the existing Photoshop Settings folder rather than deleting it, then launch Photoshop so it creates a fresh set of preferences and test again.

If you can reproduce the behavior with fresh preferences, the screen recording and System Info should give us what we need to investigate the 27.9.x behavior further.
