"Could not complete your request because of a program error"

I get this message when I try to open a specific PSB file. It worked fine last night, and I don't have any problems with any other file. I changed machine, and the problem persists.
I've looked for a lot of solutions online. Disabling "Use graphics processor" doesn't work. I can't open it with Photopea because it's a large file with multiple canvas. I reset my preferences, updated the software, uninstalled and reinstalled... I don't know what to do anymore, and I really need this file. It's large, 3GB, but I can open much larger ones.

Any ideas?

Could you share a bit more about what’s going on with the file? What version of Photoshop are you using? Also, did anything unusual happen while you were working on it last night, like a power outage or crash?

 

If the issue is happening across different machines but only with this specific file, it might be a sign that the file is corrupted. One thing you could try is opening it in Photoshop Web or Adobe Illustrator to see if it loads there.
