Hi all,

I would like to know if it's possible in an easy way to recreate a movie from a series of frames that was already an animation, thanks

If the images are sequentially numbered, you can open the first image and check "Image Sequence" at the bottom of the dialog box. It will open as video.

To recreate a movie from a series of frames, you can follow these steps:

    Gather Your Frames:

Collect all the frames of the animation you want to recreate into a single folder on your computer. Make sure the frames are in the correct sequence.

    Choose Video Editing Software:

Select a video editing software that suits your needs. Some popular options include Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro (for Mac users), iMovie (for Mac users, beginner-friendly), and DaVinci Resolve (free and powerful).

    Import Frames:

Open your chosen video editing software and import the frames into the project. Most video editing software allows you to import image sequences. This means you can select the first frame, and the software will automatically import the rest of the frames as a sequence.

    Arrange Frames:

Arrange the frames in the correct order on the timeline of the video editing software. This will create the animation sequence.

    Set Frame Duration:

Adjust the duration of each frame to control the speed of the animation. You can specify how many frames appear per second (fps). The standard frame rate for movies is 24 fps, but you can adjust it based on your preference and the original frame rate of your animation.

    Add Audio (Optional):

If your original animation had audio, you can import and synchronize it with your recreated animation.

    Preview and Export:

Preview the recreated animation to ensure it looks as expected. Once you are satisfied, export the video in your desired format and quality settings. Common video formats include MP4, MOV, and AVI.

    Save Your Project:

Save your project file in the video editing software format (usually with an extension like .prproj for Premiere Pro or .fcpx for Final Cut Pro). This allows you to make further edits later if needed.

By following these steps, you can recreate a movie from a series of frames that were originally an animation.

Yes, it's possible to create a film from animation frames. You can use video editing software to compile the frames, set timing, and add audio. Good luck with your project.

Load the images into a Stack, create a Frame Animation and use »Make Frames From Layers«.
