does anyone know if this is possible? for example- using an image I have, then have photoshop automatically create something like a blockprint version of said image using ai?

How easy or possible it might be depends on exactly what you want. Are you looking for any of the following, or something else:

An image merely in the generic style of a wood block print, it just has to kind of look like one.

An image in a specific style of wood block print, by a specific artist or style (German Expressionist, Japanese Ukiyo-e…).

An image color-separated into spot color channels so that you can make an actual woodcut from it.

Hey there- im interested in the first option. just trying to turn an image (photograph) into something easily seen or realized as a blockprint. no color-seperation although that would be cool for other projects as well. How would you go about doing this- im tyring things but cant get this one down.. thanks in advance

Please post a sample of the style you are after and an image you want to edit thusly.

Yeah, it's totally possible to turn an image into a blockprint-style version using AI and Photoshop. There are some cool filters and plugins out there that can help you achieve that effect.

So, as you might know how it works, please tell us all what filters and plug-ins you are thinking about.

I am not convinced that this is a task for generative AI.
