I want to make eye-catching thumbnails for my cricket mobile game feature images/thumbnails for my gaming website using Photoshop. What are the best tips for realistic player graphics and action effects?

I am afraid I don’t understand what you want to achieve. 

By »realistic player graphics« so you mean the exact appearance of the game while played? Can you export the graphics directly or catch screen grabs? 

 

Could you elaborate and/or post links to examples of the effects you want to emulate in Photoshop?
