CS2 on Windows 10

I have not used CS2 for a few years and would like to install it on windows 10. Several question have come up

     1)Will this work?

2)The install seems to start ok and then it expects there to be a older version of PS on the machine. Of course there is not. Is there any way around this?

Thanks for whatever you can help with.

Not likely.  CS2 is too old for modern computer OSs.  And the activation servers for it were taken offline several years ago.

Assuming your computer can support CS2, you would need to download a new copy from the web site and use the special serial number provided on that page.  No guarantees this will work on your system though.

"Activation server unavailable" error in Adobe CS2, Acrobat 7, and Audition 3

If Photoshop is important to you, consider joining the Creative Cloud's Photography Plan.  It's only $10/month and you're getting the very latest software that's compatible with modern OSs.

Another option is to buy Photoshop Elements.  It's kind of a light version of PS.  Not quite as many bells & whistles but it might be all you need.

Thanks for your quick reply. I think for now I would like to give it one more shot to install. Where is the copy on this web site?

    Thanks
