Try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps described here:

It's recommended to backup your settings before resetting the preferences.

If this doesn't help we need more infos. Please described exactly what you are doing (or try to do) before the error occur.

If it's possible please post a screenshot that shows the issue.
