Cursor won't release objects in Photoshop
So, as the subject stated, every so often the cursor in Photoshop won't release an item. For instance, I grab a guide and go to move it/get rid of it, I click and grab it, throw it to the side and the cursor won't let go. It just holds onto it as if I were still holding down the mouse button and will stay that way until I do something like press the enter key. Same for transforming an object. Hot key to transform (or menu option), grab a side of the object, and transform as desired, let go of the mouse button but then the cursor holds onto it still until I press the enter key. At which point I need to transform it all over again. It happens more or less with anything that requires a mouse click. Zooming in/out, drawing a selection, and so on.
It's only in Photoshop this happens.
I thought it might be the mouse so I bought a brand new one but it's still happening. All drivers are up to date, as are updates in the software and OS. It's incredibly frustrating as when it happens, it breaks the workflow and concentration.
Help me, Obi Wan... you're my only hope.
