deactivating devices not accessible

Question

I can't deactivate my cs5.5 and cs6 programs on my old computer because it's dead and won't turn on. So installing on my new computer is stalled because it won't let me activate them until the deactivation is done. I was on chat with Adobe for a bit and they will try to reissue serial numbers for programs but I have to wait up to 48 hrs. they are both education editions. Any ideas on how to make them work if the reissue path doesnt work?HELPPPP???Edit

​@practical_Bee1626if you can’t deactivate it from the old PC and you have used up your allowed 2 activation counts, you’re out of luck, Adobe no longer reset activation counts

In certain cases, contacting customer support directly through the official chat and explaining the forced transition situation can result in special offers.
