Dell Tower Plus - Desktop, Windows 11 Home,  Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 265K processor (20-Core, 66MB Total Cache, 3.3GHz to 5.5GHz), NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 12GB GDDR7, 64 GB DDR5, 2 x 32 GB, 5200 MT/s, 1 TB, M.2, PCIe NVMe, SSD + 2 TB, 7200 RPM, SATA, HDD,

Lightroom CC, Bridge and Photoshop,  not a gamer.   Not a video editor and limited abilities in the suite.

Running Windows 10 , Bridge freezes, PS freezing, Lighroom very slow.  Need to upgrade!

Suitability of above system, various Pro-Con on the RTX 5070 for use with Adobe so I am seeking guidance and opinions from the experts.

I'd replace the HDD with a 2TB NVMe second drive. NVMe's are pretty cheap now, and I would go for 2 x 2 TB.

Also, Windows 11 Pro instead of Home gives you control over updates, so your machine doesn't suddenly reboot when you're in the middle of something. A couple of those, and you're ready to pay whatever it takes.

The Nvidia RTX series is the Photoshop workhorse these days. We all have them. They are all able to perform the advanced functions required. It doesn't need raw computing power as such, and 5060 is about as good as 5070 for Photoshop purposes. A 5070 will just be a tiny bit faster in some operations - whether it's worth the extra cost is up to you.

@ctsnowfighter the above specs are pretty good, the only thing I would change is the HDD's replace them with SSD's

Purchased the Machine - first boot up failed to send full resolution to the monitor. Unreliable in booting with regards to the monitor resolution.  “Pulling” the Display Port cord from tower would force the monitor to then return to full resolution.  Dell and Microsoft unable to resolve the issue ( multiple remote sessions and multiple OS installs), after days of stress and hours expended with tech supports, Dell Tech Support offered to replace the machine and sent the issue to next level of support staff - they refused to replace the machine, but it was within the Dell 30 day window - I returned it!  Dell said I could re-order and have new one built - YES -- $800 USD more for the same machine - what a deal!   NO MORE DELL HERE!  This was an EBT 2250, 64 GB Ram - Nvidia 5070 Card - 1000 w power supply, 2- 1tb SSD Drives, Intel 7 20 core and Windows 11 Home.

Just curious but did you have the display cable plugged into the RTX GPU or the system board, monitor cables should be plugged directly into the GPU
