Disappearing Swatches

Hello everyone! I'm running on Adobe Photoshop version 24.6.0 on Windows 10 and having a frustrating experience of my swatch panel repeatedly deleting folders and their contents.

I work in marketing and have to manage a number of colors specific to individual brands. The folders I have been creating over the past month seem to just be deleting themselves after a couple days. Fortunately all of the colors I have been saving to the swatch panel have also been being saved to my library.

Is there a way I can prevent this from happening? I can certainly swap over to using just my library, however the "recently used" strip in the swatch tab is massively convenient.

Thank you!

I know this is two years old, but I was wondering if this has ever been solved? I'm having the same issue, but on a mac.
I saved about 10 swatches and grouped them like I usually do. Then when I opened Photoshop back up today the whole group was just gone.

As a first step I would recommend resetting preferences ( https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html ). Typically on a Mac when these problems have occured for me it's been a permissions issue where the changes didn't save. If resetting prefrences doesn't help you may need to test another user account (if you can) on your Mac to see if it is related to the user and consider re-installing or migrating to a new user account.
