Partner models can generate a wide range of creative possibilities, but Photoshop’s precision tools are what allow creators to refine, direct, and reinforce their personal style with intention. When used together, AI and Photoshop become less about automation and more about authorship - helping your work stand apart from generic, AI-generated visuals and clearly reflect your authentic voice.  In my video, I demonstrate how I use Nano Banana in Photoshop to customize my style for different variations of my cute cat friend.

AI doesn’t define my style—I do.Partner models like Nano Banana are great for ideation and variation, but Photoshop is where authorship actually happens. Masks, selections, color decisions, compositing—those are conscious choices, not prompts.For me, AI is a collaborator, not a creative director. If you skip the refinement step, you get generic. If you lean into precision tools, you get consistency, intent, and a recognizable voice.My advice: treat Gen AI like a rough sketch partner. The craft still lives in how you edit, what you reject, and what you repeat on purpose.
