Does anyone has an idea why the blend mode add was removed from the apply image menu in v27.4 ?

I’ve used the blend mode “add” from the menu “apply image” in my workflow for editing portraits (blend mode add was never availabe in the layer menu). Today I’ve updated photoshop to v27.4 and the option is no longer available. Any ideas ? Is there any replacement ? I’ve switched back to v26.x and the blend mode was still there.

@Jeff Arola @davescm many thanks for your reply. I’m using Windows as operating system, but the “problem” seems to be the German version of Photoshop. Adobe has changed the German name for this blend mode (from “addieren” to “hinzufügen”, which is not exactly the same).
