Whenever I try to upscale something 2k to 4k I get orange error message after waiting forever ususually. I happen to have regular Topaz Gigapixel8 Ai upscaler and it works just fine with same images . Results are not very good usually with some weird details but it works at least. So whats wrong in Photoshop? I'd like to use it there.
ps . Firefly upscale doesn't work either , showing me same orange error .
@kirkr5689 I have never used 'Topaz Gigapixel8 Ai upscaler' — I totally could have used this for my brother-in-law memorial tribute the other day! Photoshop has maximum output size limits for AI upscaling. Generative Upscale consumes a different amount of credits based on the model and upscaled file output size. Topaz Gigapixel (25-56 megapixels) = 20 credits. Honestly, since you already have Topaz Gigapixel and it works reliably, stick with Topaz for upscaling
